Slow Stitching

In an act of extreme spring cleaning, I have said thank you to my reproductive organs and sent them on their way.  No need to carry around the extra pound when I don't need them anymore.  I have switched to hand stitching during the recovery and am making more Life of Plenty blocks.

I am picking up the first scrap fabric that will work instead of looking for the perfect fabric.  I somehow like how that modern stem fabric looks with the old fashioned spool fabrics.

I am continuing to keep you in prayer, hon! And wishing you a speedy [and complete] recovery! I love how the fabrics all go together, not something I would have picked if doing it like you say [waiting for the perfect fabric] but they work beautifully. This is going to be a very interesting project!

I hope that you are doing okay and that you progress well. In the meantime, this looks like a lovely way to use your recovery time. I too like the mix of modern and old-fashioned fabrics.

I'm sorry, I missed that you had surgery. It is a little late to wish you a quick recovery but from your blog posts it sounds as if you are doing well and removing in record time. Take everything slowly!
