Week 30 Already

There was a sudden change of circumstances for my employer last week. My last day of work this time around last Friday, so I have been out of work this week.  This meant I should have more time for quilting, but I spent my newfound time working in the basement, not 40 hours, but a few minutes a day. I am bringing up one box at a time to process it.

It is starting to look better and I am optimistic that I will be able to go through everything and make it better.  I am not going to give myself a deadline, but just keep working on continual progress.

2020:  Week 30 of 15 Minutes to Stitch

Don't be shocked by my timely post. This week, I decided to turn on the sewing machine. I am quilting the mini quilt I have been thinking about for months. The blocks were started in October 2010, and I was hoping to finish them as a mini of the month for May. The quilting will be simple, and I would love to be able to present it as a mini for July.

Slow and steady = that's how it gets done.

Little by little, but steady - good plan. Hope your employment situation isn't stressful to you. Pretty daisies (maybe not daisies, but pretty flowers in the sunshine!).

There is no pressure to finish a July mini "in" July. I can link it in anytime! I think basement cleaning and reorganizing is every bit as important. Oh how I love to reorganize. It seems to happen so seldom these days. I will watch for the little mini!

So sorry about the job situation. Sound like you are making good use of this between time to get a few things done around the house and in the sewing room.

Sorry about your job situation but hope you get to enjoy time working on projects that you want to work on.

Yes, I too hope your employer's situation isn't serious. Whenever there's a small glitch these days (a cough, a closed store) I wonder if Covid-19 is lurking. I hate having my mind go to the negative first but there you have it...
