It's called 15 Minutes to Stitch Recap

As I was thinking about my quilting time, I almost said that I hadn't done any quilting. But no, it is called 15 Minutes to Stitch and I absolutely did stitching.  As a result, I have another 100% on the books! My obsession this week has been the stumpwork portraits.

Here's my latest portrait. She was going to have a crochet scarf, but with her lacy hat, she needed a dressy summer outfit. It's got a lace collar to match her hat. I may have to redo her eyes.

Obviously she isn't finished yet. My friend said she looks like a voodoo doll with all the pins.

Here's the other one I made earlier in the week. She now has pupils. It is not easy to put a french knot on top of a french knot. Yes she has a mole.

Here are the two friends side by side. They both need names.

Here are the final results of the week:

15 Minute sessions of stitching this week:  7 out of 7
15 Minute sessions of stitching this year:  140 out of 154 sessions
Success rate: 91%

I was going to show you a different flower today, but the rose matches her dress, so you get roses again.

Very fun! I like the lacy hat the pretty print dress. Congrats on finding time to stitch last week. Hope this week is as good.

I love the personality you've created with your stumpwork ladies!! I think the one on the left is Del, short for Dolores, and the one on the right looks like a Gladys.

What fun! You are going to have lots of entertainment naming them and finding their stories! Hope that you are going to make them some more friends too.
