2021: Week 43 of 15 Minutes to Stitch

With the shorter days and cooler weather, I have been focusing on getting my house ready for the winter. Even though I have been spending most of my time at home anyway, I feel the need to be ready to continue to do that for the winter.

I am also working full time, doing my favorite part of the project.

Most of the photos in this post were taken while I was looking for closeup photos.

2021:  Week 43 of 15 Minutes to Stitch

Another wimpy report. I started the purple postage stamp block. I have the rows done, just need to sew them into a block. I have also chosen the next color. Just like the photo of some gravel looks like a rocky beach, the tiny squares in the postage stamp block gets special attention.

I haven't seen any of the brown fuzzy caterpillars yet. I forget if they predict and early winter or what.

In a close up photo we see so much clearer the world around us.
That's a happy ghost in the window!

I like your photo closeups! Nature is so super cool! There's always next week for the stitches, right?? :)

Some weeks just don't turn out to be stitching weeks. You did have a great photography week. I really like that shot with the ghost in the window. Hopefully this week was better for you on the stitching front.

We've brought down our kerosene space heater and set the upstairs cats with a heated pad. The clothes have been changed over for winter for a month already! When it is summer I long for winter but now that it is upon us I realize how long we will be in cold weather!
