Happy 10/10/10

It's October, 10, 2010.  On January 1 of this year, I was so excited about the year 2010.  It's such a lovely number.  I looked forward to putting 2010 on a lot of my quilts as I finished them.

When I found out a few days ago that 10/10/10 was coming up, and I thought I should work on a lot of quilts, and save the last stitch on each for this special day, so I could put this date on them.  No matter that it looks like a code of some kind, and not a date. It didn't happen, of course.  I went ahead and finished the last quilt, even though it could have waited for this date.  I guess I can make something small to finish, but I wouldn't count on it.

What are you finishing today?

Shasta, I am finishing my Kaffe Fassett quilt that I started in Paducah. It is a snowball quilt. I kissed my husband 10:10 am and 10 secs on 10/10/10. This way I remember what I was doing today. LOL Steph

I love that little quilt, and the date today really threw me. I made a new folder to put some pics in by date, and had to stop after typing 10 twice, lol.
No finishes today....or probably even this coming week. Sigh.

That is such a great idea! Too bad I didn't have anything close to finished!

I went geocaching for 10-10-10, I got a surprise 10-10-10 badge for the effort too. I didn't even think about finishing something in time for the date. I am enjoying all these fun number dates we are having.
