Two More Weekly Stitching Reports

I joined a food delivery service for the adventure of it.  Just a couple of weeks worth to see how it was and try out different foods. It is fun, but the dishes have a lot of calories, and there is a lot of the cost is in the packaging and delivery. It was a nice change of pace though.

2020:  Week 22 of 15 Minutes to Stitch

I didn't do any stitching this week.  We had a lot of rain last week, and a tiny trickle of water in the basement.  Although there wasn't any damage in our basement, there was a big flood in the backyard.  To avoid a future disaster, I have moved up the decluttering schedule of the basement. I wanted to wait until the sewing room and guest rooms were done since they are more public than the basement, but I haven't let anyone in the house since the coronavirus situation, so they are all private spaces anyway. My visitors talk to me on the porch, six feet away from me.

The progress in the basement has been going well. It is also a few minutes at a time so it will take a long time to get through, but so far, the decision-making has been fairly easy and it has been easy for me to remove a lot of things out.

15 minute days this week -- 0 out of 7
15 minute days this year -- 125 out of 138 days
Success rate  = 91%

Somehow, the days I don't sew affect the success rate more than the days I do sew. I just dropped from 96% to 91%.

2020:  Week 23 of 15 Minutes to Stitch

I did more enjoyable stitching on the quote quilt this week.  I added the two things shown in these pictures and added the dates on the squirrel.  It explains to the quilters why it took so long to make the quilt. "2002-2020". Now I really HAVE to finish the quilt this year.

15 minute days this week -- 7 out of 7
15 minute days this year -- 132 out of 145 days
Success rate  = 91%

See what I mean? I stitched 7 days this week but the success rate stayed the same. That's all right, it is still an A based on my grading scale!

You always score an "A" in my book; I am envious of your dedication and organization in keeping track. I've never participated in a food delivery service and always wondered what the reviews would be from actual users. It would be nice to have something already prepared and ready at mealtime, guess I need a chef. ;)

Always a good report. You'll feel better once your basement has been tidied. Not much sewing here either.

I like that spiral. Is it appliqued fabric? Or cut out that shape? So pretty.

I thought about trying a food delivery service for a change of pace, especially when the restaurants were closed. In their ads they always seems to have yummy food! Looks like you are making nice progress with your stitching :-)
