On Ringo Lake Progress

All the rows have been sewn together and all but the center row of sashing have been joined together, ready to press.

I had to do some math and some trial and error to figure out the size to cut the pieces for the setting triangles, but I think I have figured it out now. I didn't press first and the quality of the photo isn't good, but this makes me very happy.

So now it is time to piece the rest of them before I can join the rows. Interspersed with some 15 minute sessions of pressing!

Triangle settings on point are such a problem. I never remember what the formula is and usually I have to get my mathematically inclined to help me do the figuring.

Your quilt has turned out beautifully!

You are nearly there, and this is looking great! The iris is beautiful - so pure and elegant.

Figuring out setting triangles for on-point layouts can be such a challenge. I've only done it once for a pattern I created. I ended up with them being wider than necessary and then cutting them off but I decided early on that it would be better to have them too wide than too small and have to make them again. I think this looks great. You're coming along with this quilt and will be finished soon!

Beautiful iris!

Setting triangles are never fun to calculate. Looks like you got yours all figured out!
