Another Sunny Winter Day

It was another pretty day today and the sun was out.  Today, I appreciate the sun and the birds.

I spent time cutting out more fabric - yellow and black.  I'm not used to doing this much cutting at a time, but the sun is out so I don't mind. It will make the sewing part quicker.

I also appreciate the library for the friendly staff, and all the inspiration, knowledge, and pretty pictures I can find in their books.

I think we are all enjoying and appreciating the sunny days. Let's hope this winter will have more of them.

In Kentucky, we had a very gray winter last year... very depressing and this year seems to be more of the same. Yesterday was sunny here, as well as a little warmer. The sun was missed by many if the number of comments/conversations I heard while out and about is reflective of how much it has been missed lately!!! One of my lilacs may have been fooled...

It was nice to see the sun, that's a treat in the middle of winter. Sounds like you made use of all the motivation and really made some progress with your project.

Nice! We had a gray day, but managed to get out for a walk. Big wind storm last night, but we didn’t lose power. Definitely grateful for that.
